Representing Midshire at this year’s awards was Regional Sales Manager, Nick Rose who was nominated and crowned victor in the category ‘Young Business Person of the Year’, beating off some tough competition.

This is the second major award for Nick, who was crowned Manchester Champion at the Made In Manchester Awards earlier this year.

Nick has been instrumental in fundraising for local charities such as Francis House Children’s Hospice over the past 18 months. Money has been raised through the F72 world record breaking football event and more recently the Can You Sing Manchester? singing competition.

Nick commented:

“It’s a massive honour for me to be named Stockport’s Young Business Person of the Year.

Midshire provides young people with the perfect platform to express themselves, and to achieve their goals.

I’ve been lucky enough to benefit from this since joining the company at 19 years old, and I look forward to seeing our junior members of staff follow a similar path.

It’s fantastic to see our growth as a business recognised, and I’m delighted to accept the award on behalf of our amazing team.”
