Topping the Shortlist at the North West Insider Young Professionals Awards
Midshire’s Group Marketing Manager Adrienne Topping has made the shortlist for the 2016 Insider Young Professional Awards, joining five other well-deserving finalists in the Young Marketing & Media Professional category.
Organised by Insider Media, the Young Professional Awards celebrates the up and coming business stars of the North West in a range of categories covering industries including: law, property, accountancy, engineering, media and recruitment.
Alex Smith of Sheppard Robson is one of the judges for the awards. He commented: “We were looking for something outstanding, people who are going places and who have achieved a lot in a year.”
Adrienne has led a complete in-house re-brand of Midshire and is responsible for all company marketing materials. As an experienced graphic designer, Adrienne has trained her team from having no knowledge of design, to having expert graphic design skills using the latest software programmes. This has had a direct impact on all areas of the business, including increasing staff levels, turnover and the opening of two new regional offices.
Managing Director, Phil Powell comments: “Adrienne joined us with little knowledge of our industry and given the strong personalities employed at all levels of our business has defended her position through her tenacity, drive and motivation where lesser people may have crumbled or would have just given up”.
Julian Stafford, Managing Director adds: “Due to her passion, drive and unique skill-set, we now have a fantastic new brand to go alongside a cutting edge website and vibrant social media channels!”
Earlier this year, Adrienne was highly commended in the Marketing Professional of the Year category at the Made in Manchester awards. In a tough shortlist, she was just pipped to the top award, however the judges were impressed with her skills and passion, commending her efforts. She was also shortlisted for Stockport Young Business Person of the Year in 2015.
Adrienne comments on her success: “I’ve always enjoyed the creative process, taking something from an idea, through to a finished product. I now get to pass those skills on through training my team and I get great pleasure from seeing their skills develop and grow. This further strengthens our team, allowing us to deliver more for Midshire.”
The Insider Young Professional Awards are sponsored by Pinsent Masons and Cowgill Holloway and will take place on Thursday 21st April at the Lowry Hotel, Manchester.
