Midshire’s new base in West Bromwich declared open
On Thursday 12th March Midshire was delighted to welcome Sandwell Council Leader Darren Cooper to their brand-new, custom-built office in West Bromwich for its official grand opening.
The directors of the Midshire Group welcomed business partners, local businesses, community leaders and customers to enjoy a tour of the new premises as well as product demonstrations and a few special treats along the way.
The range of demonstrations on show highlighted the diverse portfolio of products and services available through Midshire, covering: photocopiers and specialist printing equipment, 3D printing, video conferencing, technology for education and a new in-house, cloud-based virtual desktop solution – Desktop Monster, designed and built by Midshire!
Midshire partners the world’s leading technology brands including: Ricoh, Sharp, Lexmark, Samsung, RISO, HP, Samsung and Gamma, who were all in attendance to see the grand unveiling. Finance solution partners Siemens Financial Services, CIT and CF Asset were also there to toast the occasion and show their support.
The relocation to a bespoke office and warehouse facility in Doranda Way, West Bromwich follows on from the company’s decision to move from Nechells, Birmingham. The move is the result of £2.2 million investment by the company, which has been partly funded by the Growing Priority Sectors Regional Growth Fund with the help of Think Sandwell, Sandwell Council’s business growth team.
The new office signals continued growth for Midshire who have had a record year with a 20% increase in turnover, taking group turnover to over £25 million. The move has already created 20 new jobs, with the capacity for a further 20 in the medium term. The 25,000 sq ft premises comprises of extensive warehousing facility, office space across two levels and a number of demonstration showrooms.

The new office has provided better facilities for our growing team and will enable us to deliver an even better service to our expanding customer base. It was a real pleasure to officially open the building in front of our business partners, local businesses and staff.”
The official office opening marks the start of the Midshire group’s 25th anniversary year in business and will see it through its next phase of continued growth and development.
Established in 1990, the Midshire group now has four regional offices across the UK and employs over 200 staff.
