Inspiring Leadership Conference 2014
Midshire is set to exhibit at the Inspiring Leadership Conference, which is being held at the Convention Centre in Birmingham between the 11th and 13th June 2014.
The event is being organised by the CfBT, NAHT and ASCL.
The Inspiring Leadership Conference will host an excellent line up of speakers, including ex England Rugby Union coach, Sir Clive Woodward, conductor of The Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, Benjamin Zander and one of Canada’s leading educators, Dr Avis Glaze.
There will also be a number of education focussed exhibitors attending the conference. Midshire will be displaying the following products at the conference:
– Cube X 3D printer
– Promethean ActivTable
– Promethean ActivPanel Touch
– Ricoh photocopier
The Midshire team will be demonstrating the full range of equipment which can help to enhance the learning environment. Come along to the stand on the day for a series of special offers.
One of the products being displayed at the Inspiring Leadership conference will be the 3D printer. This type of product has become incredibly popular within the education sector, as 3D modelling is to become part of the key stage 3 curriculum from September. A 3D printer is the perfect way to engage this aspect of learning.
The Promethean products are completely interactive, giving children the opportunity for collaborative learning. The ActiveTable is a multi-touch and multi-user device ideal for group work, problem-solving activities and consensus decision making.
As a Ricoh Prestige Dealer, Midshire displays the highest standards in service and knowledge of Ricoh machines. We are therefore able to offer a competitive solution to your individual printing needs.
Midshire has worked with the education sector for over 15 years, and currently provides a full range of products and IT services to schools across the country.
One such customer is Baxenden Primary School. Last year Midshire won the contract to design, supply, project-manage and deliver the new IT facility in readiness for the new autumn term. This was completed on time, and subsequently opened by The Mayor of Hinburn, Councillor Judith Addison, and the Mayoress Councillor, Kathleen Pratt.
