Midshire Supports BBC’s Stargazing with Print Solutions
Following on from the success of previous years, BBC programme Stargazing is back for its fifth series. The show will air on the 18, 19 and 20th March on BBC Two. Catch the first programme on Wednesday at 8pm on BBC2.
The show will be broadcast live from Cheshire observatory Jodrell Bank, where Professor Brian Cox and Dara O’Briain will host and bring viewers images of the night sky.
Jodrell Bank
The observatory at Jodrell Bank is home to the Lovell telescope, one of the largest steerable radio telescopes in the world.
The last night’s show will coincide with the solar eclipse, which with clear skies should be visible across Britain on Firday morning. The sun and moon will momentarily line up, causing the moon to obscure the sun and triggering darkness. The last solar eclipse took place in 1999.
Sharp MX6240
Midshire is pleased to support the event with print solutions and technical support for the duration of the filming. Midshire will supply two Sharp MX 6240 machines, capable of print, scan, fax and stapling.
