Midshire Splashes in to Support Stockport Metro Swimming Club

Midshire Business Systems Northern Ltd, the North West’s leading office technology sales and service provider is pleased to confirm that it is the official ‘Technology and Print Partner’ of Stockport Metro Swimming Club.
Midshire is delighted to provide on-going support to the club including: the supply of an A4 colour photocopier, laptops, a projector, office stationery and the design and print of their swim meet programmes.
Richard Blackshaw, Head Coach at Stockport Metro explains:-
“We are extremely grateful to Julian and the team at Midshire for their support. In the absence of funding we are reliant on partners to assist us in maintaining a World Class training environment. We are proud to call Midshire our technology and print partner.”
Stockport Metro is one of the most successful swimming clubs in the UK, catering for over 300 competitive swimmers and 20 competitive synchronised swimming members. Recently Stockport Metro was crowned ‘Top Club’ at the ‘2015 British Swimming Championships’ where it topped the medal table with 31 medals. Life Leisure Grand Central Pools, in the centre of Stockport, is home to Stockport Metro and some of the best coaches and competitive swimmers in Great Britain.
Previous Metro swimmers include Olympic medallists Keri-Anne Payne, Cassandra Patten, Steve Parry and Graeme Smith, together with three times Commonwealth Gold Medallist James Goddard.
The swimming club, also known as the Wolfpack has a very strong team spirit, which is brought out by the Wolfpack name. The club hosts six junior swim meets per year to develop youngsters in the region along with two national level open meets, where swimmers travel from across the UK to compete.
Midshire will be working with Stockport Metro as the official ‘Technology and Print Partner’ for the coming season, supporting all meets until June 2016.
