Midshire Europe’s No.1 for Sharp MX-6500

Office technology sales and service provider Midshire, is delighted to be named No.1 reseller in Europe, for sales of the Sharp MX-6500 colour production printing system.

In the last financial half (Apr 15- Sept 15), Midshire, a Sharp Centre of Excellence, sold and installed an amazing 29 MX6500 devices, resulting in them being the top European reseller of this multi award winning MX6500/7500 Pro series production printer during the period, ahead of over 500 other dealers in Europe.

This award comes at the end of a year of exceptional growth for Midshire. Now with 4 regional offices across England and Wales, Midshire has grown from a photocopier sales and service provider, into a full service technology company. This expansion of products and services has seen Midshire develop from a relatively small company, with 66 employees in 2005, to now having over 240 employees.

When the Sharp MX-6500N was launched to them in early 2015, Midshire saw that it was an ideal solution for any in-house or commercial production environment.

The device has been recognised for its excellent reliability, but also for its industry-first integration of EFI’s Fiery Command Workstation into the touch-screen display. Due to this, it went on to win the BLI award for Outstanding 61-70ppm A3 Colour MFP for Summer 2015 and even more followed.

National Dealer Sales Manager, Sue Kelly and Territory Sales Manager. Joe Hughes, presented Midshire with a certificate and award on behalf of Sharp UK following the announcement by UK Sales Director, Paul Leach at Sharp’s 2015 European conference in Malta.

Midshire was awarded Sharp Centre of Excellence status back in 2010 and is one of only 12 dealers in the UK and Ireland to achieve this accolade, the greatest that can be accomplished by a reseller. It recognises that Midshire can supply and service any Sharp photocopier or printer device from the range, to the highest level required. All Midshire engineers are trained by Sharp, ensuring that their devices are supported and maintained to manufacturer standards. This has enabled the company to provide cutting edge managed print service solutions to its customers.

The Midshire marketing team uses its own Sharp MX-6500 on a daily basis to create sponsorship programmes, posters and other materials required for marketing campaigns, sales team support and out sourced printing requests from customers.
