Midshire launches Stockport IT Manager Meet Up

Office technology and IT service provider Midshire has launched a new networking event aimed at IT Managers and senior IT professionals in Stockport.
‘Stockport IT Manager Meet Up’ is a new local networking event created to bring together and strengthen the IT community in Stockport. Setup to encourage IT managers and senior IT professionals to meet and network once a month, to review hot topics, industry news and discuss any IT issues they may be facing.
Stuart Carruthers, Midshire Northern Technology Sales Manager comments: “We invite all IT managers and senior IT professionals to spend just a couple of hours out of your month to consult with your peers and access valuable support and advice.”
“The world of technology and IT is changing rapidly. The purpose of this group is to help IT managers keep pace with the latest products and solutions. We all know that many heads are better than one and by bringing together collective IT experience and expertise, you may find answers you never even knew existed.”
The inaugural ‘Stockport IT Manager Meet Up’ event is to be held on Wednesday the 24th August at 12 – 2pm at Midshire HQ in Bredbury. Starting with lunch and welcome drinks, followed by lots of opportunity to chat, swap experiences and an informal Q&A.
Adrienne Topping, Group Marketing Manager for Midshire explains: “There was very little available in the North West as far as networking events for IT managers was concerned, so we decided a Stockport focused group would be really beneficial for the Stockport business community and a great place to start.”
“The initial interest from local businesses has been really positive, so we can’t wait to host the first event. As it’s our launch event, we’ve got a few extra special things up our sleeve, but all will be revealed!”
Stockport IT Manager Meet Up is an IT focused networking event, offering senior IT Managers in Stockport, a safe place for sharing ideas, knowledge, contacts and experiences with a room full of people in the same position. Not only that, but it’s completely free and lunch is provided!
