Midshire Joins Telegraph Business Club

Industry leading, office technology sales and service provider Midshire, is proud to announce it has been selected to feature on the Daily Telegraph’s online Business Club, as part of a video series.

Selected as one of 15 businesses to take part in the series, alongside the likes of EON, Kurt Geiger, JDM Food Group and Visit Britain, Midshire’s video will be featured on the Telegraph Business Club website for 6 months; one of the fastest growing online business platforms in the UK.

The Business Club showcases the expert views and case studies of the country’s most successful businesses, which have interesting and individual stories to tell, the others can learn from.

Telegraph Business Club[1]The Daily Telegraph expressed an interest in creating a video with Midshire when one of their research team came across a press release outlining Midshire’s sustained growth and expansion in 2014, commenting that “the £2m relocation of the Midlands office following sustained growth, was both current and relevant to the video series.”

Now with 4 offices across England and Wales, the company has rather uniquely grown organically, from a photocopier sales and service provider into a full service technology company. Midshire have added telecommunication solutions, IT services and their own in-house designed cloud products to their offering. This expansion of services has seen Midshire develop from a relatively small company with 66 employees in 2005, to now having over 230 employees, with excelled growth in the last 5 years.

Midshire Director, Julian Stafford comments: “The company has changed in the last 5 years beyond all recognition, and we are no longer just a copier company – we’re a technology company! We partner with the best, with the likes of Ricoh, Lexmark, Sharp, Samsung, RISO and HP, are all at the cutting edge of their own technologies and the partnership gives us fantastic support.”

The Business Club production team has worked with Midshire over a 12-month period, to produce the 5-minute video, which captures the spirit, enthusiasm and passion of the company.

Roy Lewis, Midshire Telecoms National Sales Manager explains: “We’re now in generation C, not generation X and that’s about connectivity, communication and it’s about change, and the final part of that is the cloud. So we’ve had expand into a larger premises, into taking on more and more people who have an expert knowledge and can deliver these products, configure these products and maintain those products, and move forward with them.”

The film gives an insight into Midshire through numerous interviews from directors, members of staff, technology partners and customers, taking a deeper look to establish how Midshire has managed to achieve their impressive growth in a fast changing and competitive marketplace.
