‘Midshire Hunks’ Charity Calendar

As part of our Christmas celebrations, every year Midshire send customers a new annual calendar for them to use the following year. The calendar, which has historically had images of the British countryside, has been very successful with customers requesting it year on year.
After a fantastic year of fundraising efforts, Midshire Northern MD Julian Stafford decided that we should perhaps do something a little different. We have decided to create the “Midshire Hunks Charity Calendar”, with a selection of our male staff getting their tops off in front of the camera to raise money for Francis House Children’s Hospice.
Midshire have been supporting Francis House, a local charity, for several years now, and this calendar is our latest fundraising venture. The Didsbury based hospice works to help children and young adults with life threatening illnesses, and strives to provide the necessary support and short-term rest for their families. We will be giving customers a calendar for free, with the option to then donate some money to the charity via a JustGiving page.
Local photographer Carlton Adkins who specialises in fashion photography, commercial photography and still life photography is shooting the photographs for us on Wednesday 9th October at his studio.
The reasoning behind the ‘hunks’ calendar is the due to constant feedback we get off customers asking what they can do to get certain members of our team back into their office.
The selected 8 “hunks” come from a range of departments within the Northern office, including: Sales, IT, Warehouse and Engineers. The calendar, while showing off their torsos, will also show off the range of products and services Midshire provide our customers in a visually pleasing manner.
