Marketing Manager Adrienne makes Shortlist for MIMAs
Industry-leading office technology provider, Midshire is delighted to announce that Group Marketing Manager, Adrienne Topping has made the shortlist of Marketing Professional of the Year at the Made in Manchester Awards 2016.
Organised by Future Pro Manchester, the Made in Manchester Awards celebrate the best of Manchester’s young talent in the financial and professional sectors.
Adrienne joined the Midshire Group in 2012, taking on the newly created role of Marketing Manager. In the past four years she has completely transformed the Group’s brand, both on and offline. This has had a direct impact on all areas of the business, including increasing staff levels, turnover and the opening of two new regional offices.
A trained graphic designer, Adrienne led an in-house, company rebrand in 2014, which has cemented Midshire’s identity as an industry leading, full-service office technology provider.
Adrienne’s success in achieving national press, PR, TV and radio coverage for the organisation, including coverage of charity events, sponsorship and community work, which has raised the profile of the organisation to a once unimagined level.
Midshire MD Julian Stafford comments: “The company is totally unrecognisable from the one Adrienne joined. We have always been very good at what we do but not very good at telling people about it. We now have a fantastic new brand to go alongside a cutting edge website and vibrant social media channels. The incredible growth of Midshire over the past few years is testament to Adrienne’s drive, vision and outstanding ability.”
The judges are looking for a well-rounded individual who is committed to their own personal and professional development, someone who has leadership skills, has contributed to the organisation’s financial growth and has commercial awareness.
Adrienne said: “It’s lovely to be shortlisted as Marketing Professional of the year at the MIMA awards, especially in a category with such strong competition.
What we have achieved at Midshire over the past four years makes me immensely proud. Not just the business growth and industry success, but all of the community and charity work that is now an integral part of our brand identity.
Working with Directors and a Management Team, who have such passion and drive for the business has meant that together, we have been able to accomplish so many great achievements. There is still a lot of work to do! Working in the technology sector means it will never stop, change is happening at such a pace, our work will never be done.”
In addition to Adrienne’s nomination, Midshire are sponsoring the Manchester Champion category. Sales Manager Nick Rose was crowned Manchester Champion at the 2015 MIMA awards, so it is fitting that the company is now sponsoring the category this year.
The winners will be announced at a glittering awards evening at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate Hotel on Thursday 4th February 2016.
