Desktop Monster’s Brian wins Employee of the Month

This month’s announcement of ‘star employee’ at Midshire Northern was a surprise to all staff, given that he’s a huge purple furry monster!!

Winner of the coveted employee of the month for the month of May was awarded to Brian, the Desktop Monster. An integral part of the Midshire team, Brian visits exhibitions and events across the UK promoting Midshire’s own in-house bespoke hosted desktop product ‘Desktop Monster’.

Desktop Monster is a UK-based hosted desktop solution for business. Also known as a virtual desktop, it allows you to work anywhere in the world with an internet connection and an internet enabled device. Benefits of a hosted desktop include: reduced IT costs, increased network and data security, it allows for scalability, increases productivity, enables co-worker collaboration and allows for flexible working from any location.

What people may not know that Brian is in fact one of our workshop and delivery team Louis Turner, wearing a suit. I’m sorry if I’ve shattered some illusions sharing this information! So the real winner for May is our own Louis Turner. Louis you have done an incredible job at all our exhibitions, we know how hard work it is dancing around in such a hot suit! You have given Brian a real personality!

Brian aka Louis received £50.00 in vouchers, a certificate and congratulatory praise from all his colleagues and co-workers.
