#BusinessOfTheWeek: Solihull Riding Club

This week our #BusinessOfTheWeek is Solihull Riding Club. Founded in 1943, Solihull Riding Club is believed to be the longest-established Riding Club in the UK, pre-dating even the British Horse Society. Now in its 70th year and steeped in history, the Club has evolved from a small Members Club to become a fully equipped training and events centre with excellent facilities, which caters for all disciplines ranging from grass-roots to professional level.
The Club moved from its original 4 acre location in 1973, to a much larger 220 acre site of fields, grassland, woodland and maintained facilities. The Club is close to the M42, M40, M6 and M5 network in the heart of the UK, which draws visitors from all parts of the country.
The Riding Club is a non-profit voluntary members’ club and an HMRC accredited Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC), which is managed by a Committee of volunteers who rely heavily on the voluntary assistance of members and the general public.
Astrid Bowser, Manager at Solihull Riding Club comments:
‘Midshire provides key equipment, services and support in order for the Club to run smoothly and efficiently. With a calendar packed full of competitions and events, we rely heavily on all mediums needed to communicate effectively. Midshire are a significant element to this operation!’

‘Solihull Riding Club has some fantastic facilities, and we are pleased to be able to support them with their printing equipment. We have recently started to sponsor the Club and look forward to this relationship continuing.’

• British Eventing 16th – 17th August
• British Showjumping 5 day Elite Show
1st- 5th October
