This week our Business Of The Week is Rhenus Logistics, an international freight logistics company for exporters and importers. Rhenus links the UK with Europe. Specialities include transporting group freight, express delivery, transporting hazardous goods and providing warehouse services. Daily transport links to Ireland, the Netherlands and Belgium ensures freight consignments are delivered efficiently.
Rhenus has a large UK based operation, with eleven sites dotted strategically across England and Scotland. Their headquarters are based in Manchester.

Rhenus has been delivering high quality, cost effective freight logistics service for 75 years. Their largest export market is Germany, which accounts for 33% of business. Rhenus is able to deliver consignments via road, rail, sea and air.
Rhenus takes trading and standards very seriously. The four main sites have successfully been Security & Quality Assessment Systems (SQAS) assessed, for the correct, secure and safe handling, storage and despatch of chemicals. All ten branches also have ISO 14001 and 9001 accreditation. In addition, Rhenus has Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status, only granted to trusted businesses. This EU customs regime aims to increase the security of the international supply chain.
