Kitchen Craft has been in business since 1787. Originally founded by Thomas Plant in Cumbria, the business originally made brushes. However, in 1850 Thomas Plant moved to Birmingham and expanded his services into manufacturing and wholesaling. The business grew further, and started selling hardware such as pad locks and tools. By 1985, the company  moved into a new direction, and began to specialise in just kitchenware; the Kitchen Craft brand was created in 1995. Due to rapid expansion, the company moved to Garretts Green, a 48,000 sq ft site in 2004. Very recently, Kitchen Craft has been acquired by Lifetime Brands Inc.

Kitchen Craft has a vast family of brands including Master class, Reo, Colourworks and Sweetly Does It to name just a few.

Midshire has worked with Kitchen Craft for three years and currently supplies a range of multi-functional devices, including high speed printers and colour machines.

Midshire Account Manager Brett Howell comments,

‘I have a great relationship with Anthony Perry and Matt Addison. Together we have found the right solution for the company. Kitchen Craft is one of the leading suppliers of kitchenware in the UK.’

Anthony Perry, Kitchen Craft secretary said,

‘Midshire have been assisting Thomas Plant (Kitchen Craft) for a number of years now, from originally providing one leased photocopier and then developing our business relationship to now providing a printing solution across the whole business and at the same time reducing our overall printing costs.’
