#BusinessOfTheWeek: Integrated Community Solutions CIC

Posted on

This week our Business of the Week is Integrated Community Solutions CIC (ICS).  The ‘not for profit’ organisation specialises in funding consultancy, training and staff compliance monitoring for schools, voluntary groups and organisations.

ICS-bookletThe East Midlands based company has a wealth of experience and knowledge in this type of consultancy, and has already secured funding for a host of schools and organisations across the country. The running total for project funding is over £500,000! This funding has gone towards some very worthwhile projects, including: outdoor play areas for schools, a community food skills learning programme and a pop-up street market project, to name just a few.

ICS aims to promote and support the establishment of social enterprise companies. ICS is able to offer free, confidential advice in order to give your project the best start on the road to success.

Big Lottery Funding currently allows ICS to provide funded support for up to 12 new social enterprise community interest companies in the Nottinghamshire area. Find out more by contacting ICS today.

Edwinstowe-HouseOn Friday 7th November Edwinstowe House is holding a Technology, Business & Education Event to showcase the latest technology, training and funding available for schools and businesses. ICS will be there on the day to discuss accessing ‘No Win No Fee’ community grants for schools and social businesses. It is the ideal time to talk to an ICS consultant 1-2-1 to discuss you funding options with an expert.

The Edwinstowe House event has been organised ICS and Midshire. Malc Spray, Director at ICS CIC comments on our business partnership,

“Integrated Community Solutions CIC was looking to lease a business printer and after meeting with Martin Hill at Midshire we were extremely happy with the terms agreed and just as importantly the excellent level of service we received. From this meeting we found that both companies could actually offer each other something that would add tremendous value to their own respective clients and customers. As a result the two companies have been able to collaborate at a regional exhibition and we are now looking forward to jointly presenting our ‘Technology & Education Showcase’ event at Edwinstowe House, Near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire on Friday 7th November.”

Midshire will also be exhibiting at the showcase; demonstrating some printing equipment and interactive touch screens, and will be on hand to advise and discuss any office technology requirements.

Martin Hill, Midshire Senior Account Manager said,

‘I supplied Integrated Community Solutions CIC with a Sharp 2314 earlier this year. I believe that working together has opened many doors and opportunities  for both ICS and Midshire. As ICS specialise in finding funding for schools, churches and charities, this has allowed many of the these organisations to find finance for other projects and release monies for items such as, audio visual, copiers, printers and IT. These are products and services that these organisations would not have had without the ICS – Midshire partnership.’
