#BusinessOfTheWeek: Carlton Photography
This week our Business Of The Week is Carlton Photography, an experienced photographer based in the northwest. Carlton specialises in a full range of photography, including: fashion work, still life and product photography.
Midshire was lucky enough to work with Carlton to bring our Hot Copiers calendar to life last year. We wanted to do something slightly different to our usual calendar and so the Hot Copiers concept was born. Calendars were sent out to all of our customers, and they were very well received.
Midshire Marketing Manager, Adrienne Topping commented,
‘The Hot Copiers calendar has been a real success. It’s nice to do something different, and our customers appreciated it. The calendar was even mentioned on Radio 1, which was great. We loved having Midshire mentioned on national radio!’
The calendar was created in order to raise money for Francis House Children’s Hospice. Any donations have gone straight to the hospice.
We have worked with Francis House for a number of years, and most recently have raised money via the Can You Sing – Manchester event, where Midshire donated £10,000 to the hospice.
Carlton Photography specialises in creating fashion, commercial and still life product photography. Many of the shoots take place in Carlton’s commercial studios in either Manchester or Macclesfield. However, photography can also be on location. Some fashion shots occur on the move, with one of the latest being a shot for school wear provider Trutex. The shoot took a week to complete, and the photos will appear in next year’s Trutex School wear catalogue.
As well as photography, Carlton photography also has studio space for hire. The fully equipped studio for hire, which includes the latest digital equipment and lighting, white roll up background, wooden floor and white brick walls.
