Birmingham Office Relocation Update

In June we announced that we would be relocating our Birmingham office to a larger site in West Bromwich. Due to impressive and continued company growth the relocation is part of our business development strategy and will allow us to continue to increase our workforce as well as house all of the products from our newly extended portfolio.
National property and construction consultancy company, Wakemans has provided Midshire with a complete design and build service, including full project management. This custom built office and warehouse facility will be a 25,000 square foot space.
The building re-development work is now well under way, with the structure already taking shape. The development aim is to create a modern, professional and productive environment; giving our staff greater flexibility and scope for on-site demonstrations with increased meeting room facilities.
The larger warehousing space will allow us to provide a greater level of stock for customers and is ideally located at the back of the building. Unlike our current separate warehouse and office setup, the new warehouse is housed within the same building, offering employees easy access to all departments.
The office location is excellent, having close links to the M5 for transportation between offices and for customer deliveries. This will further enhance our offering and capability to provide an excellent service to our expanding customer base.
This image shows the front entrance to the building, which will be entirely glass-fronted. A newly branded Midshire sign will be installed closer to the completion date.
Inside, the building is also well under construction. The floors and ceiling have now been installed throughout.
A major consideration has been car parking. The outdoor landscaping will allow car parking around three sides of the building, for up to 100 cars.
The project is running to schedule, with our official relocation date being announced within the next month. We are looking forward to relocating and also inviting our customers and suppliers for a welcome tour.
