TN Robinson Appoints Midshire and Saves Money
Midshire has been appointed by one of the North West’s largest independent electrical wholesalers to supply print and document management hardware and support, in a move that will save money and upgrade efficiency.
TN Robinson, a 90 year-old family run business with eight branches from Warrington in the North through to Crewe in the South appointed Midshire after the company presented a money-saving illustration for document management.
TN Robinson’s purchasing director Chris Drake said: “It was quite simple for us, I worked through the figures. If they hadn’t saved us money, we wouldn’t have appointed them. The machines have been in for some time now and the savings are noticeable.”
MD of Stockport-based Midshire, Julian Stafford, said: “We had been working with TN Robinson for a couple of years, supplying and servicing their fax machines. We had seen an opportunity to save the company money and the management was interested enough to listen. TN Robinson has gained an enviable reputation for quality and value and as a forward thinking company constantly striving to meet the needs and challenges customers. We’re delighted to be working with them across all of their premises with a package that delivers in line with those values.
“The company had been handling its own sourcing and purchasing of printers and buying compatible consumables on the internet. Like many companies they assumed this to be the most cost effective way of producing print. Midshire offered more and better specified equipment, including genuine consumables (e.g. toner and spare parts) and unlimited maintenance and service support on a contract that saved the company both time and money. To underpin the money-saving offer Midshire is also offering clients a full refund if saving predictions aren’t delivered.”
The TN Robinson contract is the latest in a series of major wins for Midshire, a £5m turnover business that has just celebrated its 15th anniversary.
TN Robinson supplies local, national and international companies and has branches in Ashton, Crewe, Manchester, Stockport, Saltney, Macclesfield, Rochdale and Warrington. It also has a large warehousing facility.
