Midshire receives Megabuyte award for IT

Office technology reseller and service provider Midshire^® has received rank seventeen on Megabuyte’s Top 25 Emerging Stars of 2017 listing for its achievements in IT.

In 2013 the Managing Director of Midshire’s northern office, Julian Stafford launched Midshire’s IT division, following increasing pressure to provide additional IT support to the company’s Managed Print Service customers. Midshire’s IT operations have since flourished, delivering services to global customers, and bringing the department total to 13 in-house IT experts.

Megabuyte is a transaction support and data analytics platform enabling investors and advisors to monitor UK technology companies. The nature of Meagbuyte’s content has served to make it one of the sector’s most respected and authoritative commentators.

The Emerging Stars awards rank the performance of growing UK technology companies, with the aim of identifying mid-market leaders of the future. The awards assess the performance of companies within the IT services and software sectors, with the resulting rankings being determined by Megabuyte’s Scorecard methodology.

The Scorecard process examines 500 companies that match the size criteria, 150 businesses are then shortlisted based on publicly available financial information. The top 20% of these companies then form the ‘Top 25’ winners, so those featured can be assured that their industry contributions are outstanding.

Megabuyte have invited winners to an Emerging Stars workshop at the Soho Hotel in London on the 24th of May, which will run through the afternoon and conclude with a gala dinner.

The purpose of the event is to bring the Emerging Star’s CEO’s together, as well as industry experts and CEO’s from more established companies featured in the Megabuyte50. The attendees will be able to discuss business strategy and business development opportunities.
