Christmas comes early for NK Theatre Arts
Christmas comes early for NK Theatre Arts, with brand new signage throughout the Forum Theatre Romiley, courtesy of headline sponsor Midshire.
Just in time for their Christmas production, the new ‘all singing, all dancing’ signage will not only help NK Theatre Arts bring its marketing messages up to date, but means the appearance of the building both inside and out has been significantly modernised and refreshed.
Midshire has been the headline sponsor of NK Theatre Arts for just over a year and during the last 12 months, has provided a great deal of support by supplying a number of printers and screens to the Forum, printing leaflets and show programmes, and revamping the theatre’s logo. The new logo is now used across all marketing materials, including the new signage.
Adrienne Topping, Midshire’s Group Marketing Manager comments:
“Working over the last year with Kerry, Darren and all the team at NK Theatre Arts has been an absolute pleasure. I was able to work with them to develop an updated version of their logo, which better represented the charity and its work. We look forward to the New Year and continuing to work closely together.”
It’s been a busy 2015 for the charity, which works in local schools with outreach programmes on pertinent issues facing young people. The company provides weekly workshops for children, young people and adults in music, dance and drama. The Forum Theatre also plays host to many other local community organisations who use the venue for their own performances.
Darren Stannage, NK Theatre Arts Company Manager said:
“The signage has made a massive difference to us and is the first time since we arrived here in 2003 that we have been able to give the identity of the building a fresh new look. There were over 40,000 local people coming through the doors of The Forum last year and we want to thank Midshire for their fantastic support in helping raise our profile in Stockport and beyond.”
Now in final rehearsals for their end of year show ‘Christmas at the Forum’, the whole company, children through to adults perform for the family fun show. With singing, dancing and drama it’s a bit of Christmas for everyone.
Productions are already planned for next year, with two key highlights being ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ and ‘Monty Python’s Spamalot’.
Midshire is an active sponsor of a number of local organisations, including sports teams, local charities and business networking groups.
