Midshire Expands Operations into Cumbria

Industry leading office technology sales and service provider Midshire continues its expansion across the UK, by launching its services into Cumbria. Midshire already supplies and services photocopiers and printers to many businesses and schools in Cumbria, but is looking to develop the business, focusing on a more local approach.

With over 11,000 installations nationally, Midshire is one of the country’s leading resellers and is recognised for being at the forefront of its industry. Providing companies with everything they need to run an office efficiently, Midshire supplies photocopiers and printers on a ‘Managed Print Service’, telecommunication solutions and IT services and support.

Midshire’s newest appointment, Martin Chandler joins Midshire as Sales Manager and will be working with organisations across the Cumbria region. Martin brings with him almost 30 years experience in the print solutions industry, having worked for some of the biggest manufacturers and resellers in the country.

The Midshire Group was established 25 years ago with just three employees and today has over 235 staff across its four regional offices in: West Bromwich, Stockport, Sheffield and Pontyclun in Wales.

Midshire provides remote monitoring on all photocopiers and printers it installs, so that meter readings and service information can be taken automatically from the machines, removing the hassle for the customer.

Midshire has raised over £150,000 for local charities on a national scale in the past two years alone and has recently supported the Animal Refuge at Wetheral, by providing a photocopier to assist in their administration office.
