Sharp Managed Print Services

A Managed Print Service is a bespoke photocopier and printer service that gives companies greater visibility and control over their printers or photocopiers, helping to boost productivity, and saving you time and money.

Midshire offers its customers a Sharp managed print service on their new or existing Sharp printers or photocopiers. Our managed print service covers: general maintenance, the ordering and dispatch of toner cartridges and parts, preventative maintenance, the booking of engineer calls and providing meter readings, plus anything else your business requires in the area of print management.

As a subsidiary of Sharp Electronics Europe, Midshire has access to the entire portfolio of Sharp photocopiers and multifunction printing devices. Sharp photocopiers offer a broad spectrum of functionality, allowing companies to choose the exact finishing options you need to create your optimal working environment.

As part of our Sharp managed print service, Midshire will complete a full audit of your current photocopier fleet. As well as analysing just how much you’re spending on print, we’ll look much deeper into how you actually work with documents. We’ll determine whether there any printers or multi-functional printers (MFPs) that are either under-used (limiting the return on investment) or over-used (which reduces reliability). We’ll advise you if they are fit for purpose. And we’ll discover who is using your printers, for what purpose, and how much waste there is.

Sharp Managed Print Service Software

Midshire uses a number of pieces of managed print software to support its managed print service provision to customers with a Sharp device.

OneStop software is a free software included as part of Midshire’s MPS, used to automatically order toner and submit meter readings. This proactive service reduces the amount of customer reporting and administration on their fleet of printers or copiers, saving them the time and the headache!

PaperCut is an additional print management software that can be embedded onto printers, photocopiers and MFPs to monitor and control printing output with a simple and easy to use administrative tools that can be accessed anywhere on the network.
