Swanley is a town in the Sevenoaks District of Kent, England. It is located approximately 15 miles southeast of central London, adjacent to the Greater London boundary and within the M25 motorway periphery.
The Swanley office is amongst several strong southern England transport links, including: the M25, Dartford Crossing, Swanley railway station with direct trains to London Victoria, and the Channel Tunnel to France. The location of the Swanley office helps Sharp to be well placed to service to customers in London and the South East of England.
The 16,500 square foot site includes a significant warehouse space, workshop, offices, call centre and a modest showroom for product demonstrations. Sharp relocated to Swanley in 2018, and the new office has enabled the business to better service the existing machines, in addition to accommodating future company growth, allowing for upwards of 50 additional field engineers and over 40 office-based staff.
