Data Migration Support
A typical install will include migration of end-user data to the data centre, end-user PC configuration, setup of business applications (such as Sage) and remote training for your employees on how to use the system. Any new or additional data can be migrated at a later date.
Your Microsoft Office and Windows licenses hosted on our systems are covered as part of the fee. We don’t license local devices but apply these to your hosted solution, at server level. This means no matter what device you choose to log on with, you will have access to the software you need when you need it. We will endeavor to provide additional existing business specific software licenses you may have, such as: Sage, Photoshop, Proclaim, Leap etc. As one of the country’s leading IT providers, we can supply any additional software or applications you may be interested in at a cost-effective price.
Adding Additional Users
Your hosted desktop solution can grow with your business and when you need to take on new employees they can be quickly added to the system. You can either raise a ticket through the support help-desk or speak to your account manager.
Normally, once a customer is up and running it takes less than an hour to add an additional user. However, this will depend entirely on each individual customer and each individual users’ setup and needs, such as software etc. The installation team will advise you on timescales as they consult with you on your requirements.
Adding Additional Storage
When a users or company reaches 95% of its storage limit, a notification will alert the team to consult with the customer on adding additional storage or deleting any unnecessary files. It’s easy to add additional storage to your solution, whether that be personal storage for individual users or to increase your company’s shared storage. The standard setup includes 20GB of personal storage and 250GB of shared company storage.
To add additional storage, you can either raise a ticket through the support help-desk or speak to your account manager who will discuss this with you. Storage can be added instantly, once approved.
